This listing is for a single bookend. These do not come as pairs by default.
Each Bookend design can be made in two ways: 1. Detachable from a metal bookend base, and secured by magnets at the base and/or sides or 2. Attached to an All Purpose Pot at the back, useful for storage of bookmarks, pens, secret chocolate stashes and the like.
Size: Bookend Base: Approx. 13cm x 20cm x 13cm
Bookend Pot: Approx. 7.4cm x 7.4cm x 9cm
Bookend Designs: Approx. 13cm x 17.5cm x 2cm (W & H varies marginally per design)
Material: Highlighted in front of a textured matte-pale-yellow wall, is a customisable couple at a Regency ball. Because there are so many couples in Jane Austen novels, I wanted there to be variety and options to customise your dancers. Thus, there are a number of customisations available, including 5 skin tones, 5 hair colours and 5 dress colours that can all be mixed & matched. The colours of the necklace beads correspond with the colour of the dress you choose. In the outdoor scene, the moon glows in the dark over the glitter-star dark blue marble sky while the petals of the hydrangeas shine when the light catches them.
Made To Order: This Bookend was part of a limited release.
Care: Your Bookend is a piece of art, but a fragile one. Please don't drop it. Acrylic can snap if dropped on a hard surface. Most of our designs are hand-painted and don't take kindly to water. Don't get them wet. Don't feed them after midnight. (That last one is negotiable.. unless it's a mogwai :p) If you need to clean your Bookend, use a soft cloth.

Each of my designs are made from scratch here at Fictional Alchemy HQ. From the initial sketching of the design, choosing the perfect acrylics, before laser cutting and assembly here in my home studio, North of Brisbane. Our pieces use high quality surgical steel and stainless steel parts & chains. As each design is handmade, like a little piece of wearable art, your creation may vary in some ways including variations in the acrylic patterning, and colour variation from what you see on your screens.
