Size: Approx. 16cm x 4.5cm
Material: Iridescent acrylic that shines from blues to purples to pinks and oranges. Laser cut and etched with a drawing, Mademoiselle Féerie, by Jemina Venter, it depicts a reader in a burlesque outfit with Ballgowns and Books Event 2025 below to mark your bookmark as a memento of this fantastical event! Each bookmark comes with a tassel attached (random mixed colours) in a sealed bag.
Fun Freebie: A FREE colouring in page of Mademoiselle Féerie will be available at Fictional Alchemy table throughout the BABE event weekend!

Care: Your bookmark is a usable piece of art, but a fragile one. Please don't drop it or stand on it. Acrylic can snap if dropped on a hard surface. Most of our designs are hand-painted and don't take kindly to water. Don't get them wet. Don't feed them after midnight. (That last one is negotiable.. unless it's a mogwai :p) If you need to clean your acrylic brooch, use a soft cloth.

Each of my designs are made from scratch here at Fictional Alchemy HQ. From the initial sketching of the design, choosing the perfect acrylics, before laser cutting and assembly here in my home studio, North of Brisbane. Our pieces use high quality surgical steel and stainless steel parts & chains. As each design is handmade, like a little piece of wearable or usable art, your creation may vary in some ways including variations in the acrylic patterning, and colour print variation from what you see on your screens.
